Your cycle data belongs to you.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

LunaLoop is published by NatureSync Labs. This privacy policy applies to:

• LunaLoop for iOS
• LunaLoop for Android (package com.lunaloop.me)

2. Summary

In this version, cycle and health data you enter in the apps stays on your device. We do not run a LunaLoop server that stores those logs. There is no required account, no third-party ads in the apps, no sale of your personal information, and no analytics or tracking SDKs in the iOS or Android apps. Ask answers use on-device templates and are not sent to an AI service.

3. What the apps store on your device

You choose what to enter. Platforms differ in what is stored today. Nothing below is uploaded to a LunaLoop server for storage.

iOS

Depending on how you use the app, LunaLoop for iOS may store on this device:

• Profile details you enter (for example name, date of birth, cycle and period length, last period, goal, regularity, and related local preferences)
• Daily logs (for example flow, period start/end, symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, water, exercise, stress, and notes)
• Fertility and related logs you enter (for example ovulation test, cervical mucus, basal body temperature, pregnancy test, and sex)
• Reminders, appointments, and a pregnancy checklist, when you use those features
• Ask chat history on this device until you clear it
• An optional 4-digit PIN used as an app lock (a lock screen for the app — not encryption of your data)

Local notifications may be scheduled on your device for reminders you enable. The app does not use Apple Health / HealthKit and does not sync your health logs with iCloud or CloudKit.

Android

Depending on how you use the app, LunaLoop for Android may store on this device:

• Profile details you enter (for example name, age or date of birth, cycle and period length, last period start, goal, cycle regularity, and onboarding state)
• Daily logs by date (for example period started / on period, mood, energy, sleep hours and quality, symptoms, and free-text notes)

Ask conversations on Android are not saved after you leave the screen. Reminders are not built in this Android release. Health Connect is not used. The app declares no network permission for core cycle features.

4. How this information is used

On-device data is used only to power features on that device — for example Today, Calendar, Insights, Learn, Profile, Ask, and (on iOS) local reminders. Ask uses fixed on-device templates with your local logs. Questions and answers are not sent to a network AI model in this version, and are not used to train models.

5. Sharing

We do not share your on-device cycle or health logs with advertisers or other apps as part of the core experience. Your cycle and health data is not used for advertising, marketing, data mining, or model training, and is not sold. It is not written to Apple Health / HealthKit, iCloud sync, or Health Connect.

If you choose to share a screenshot, an export (where available), or content through your device’s share sheet, that is under your control.

6. Backups

Android: If Android Auto Backup is enabled on your device, Android may copy app data to your own Google account backup. We never receive that backup. You can manage or remove it in your Google account backup settings. Whether backup stays enabled for LunaLoop is a product setting that may change in a future release.

iOS: The app does not sync your health logs to iCloud. We do not claim anything about whether a full device backup performed by Apple or your device settings includes the app’s local files — that depends on your OS and backup choices.

7. Your choices, deletion, and retention

Data you enter stays on your device until you delete it (or until the operating system removes it when you clear storage or uninstall). Platforms differ:

iOS

• Use Delete data on this iPhone/iPad in Profile or Privacy to wipe local app data and cancel reminders. Deletion cannot be undone.
• Clear Ask history from the in-app Ask / privacy controls.
• Export a JSON or CSV copy via the share sheet when you choose. We never receive that export.

Android

• Delete local data via Android Settings → Apps → LunaLoop → Clear storage, or by uninstalling the app.
• If a Google backup copy exists, remove it from your Google account backup settings.
• This Android release does not offer in-app export.

Because we do not store your cycle logs on a LunaLoop server, there is no LunaLoop cloud copy for us to delete after uninstall.

8. This website

The marketing site and the in-browser /app preview show sample content (including a sample cycle). Preview logs you tap in the browser are not saved as your medical record and are not written to a LunaLoop health-log database in this version.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Pages load Google Fonts from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of a normal web request for those font files. There are no analytics scripts on the site in this version, and there is no newsletter signup form. If you email us, we receive the address and content you send.

9. Links to other sites

Learn articles may cite sources. The apps may open a crisis resource or a maps search when you tap those links. Those destinations open in your browser (or the maps app) and are governed by their own policies, not this one.

10. Security

Cycle and health logs in the apps are stored on your device. You control device security (passcode, biometrics, OS updates, and who can unlock the phone). The optional iOS PIN is an app lock, not a claim that data is encrypted beyond what your device already provides. We do not claim HIPAA certification or “military-grade” security.

11. Children

LunaLoop is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). Do not use the apps or provide personal information through them if you are under that age.

12. Health disclaimers

LunaLoop provides cycle estimates and general educational information. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not contraception. Estimates are not a substitute for professional care. For health concerns, talk to a qualified clinician.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted at https://lunaloopme.com/privacy (and the same text at https://www.lunaloopcycle.com/legal/privacy) and, where appropriate, noted in the apps. Continued use after an update means you have read the revised policy.
